Community Conversation: Our Local College System

Description

Join us for a Community Conversation with our local colleges and universities. This will be a panel discussion with local leaders from the following institutions: Calhoun Community College, Drake State Community and Technical College, Alabama A&M University, University of Alabama in Huntsville, and others. Some of the topics discussed will include how these organizations are handling the growth of our city and region as well as meeting the local workforce needs with employers.

  • Dr. Catherine Wehlburg, Interim President, Athens State University
  • Gayle Hagewood, Annual Giving & Alumni Relations Coordinator, Calhoun Community College
  • Dr. Levi Mayer, Assistant Dean of Instruction, Drake State Community & Technical College

  • Dr. Daniel Wims, President, Alabama A&M University
